Proulx Farm

There's nothing like living in a big city and still having access to everything the country has to offer. That's why we love Proulx Farm, it's only minutes away from Orleans and offers so much for kids no matter the season - Spring, Summer or Autumn.

This March break we headed out for a visit to the Sugar Bush and had a great morning! For $5 per adult (and kids under 2 were free) we were able to access the playground and giant slide, the old fort, nature trails and even a tractor pulled wagon ride. We also visited the small petting farm which had a cow, a couple of pigs, sheep, donkeys and some chickens.

This time we skipped the pancake meal in the sugar shack, but I've tried it before and it certainly has that rustic country feel to it. You can enjoy the traditional all you can eat breakfast buffet in the charming cabin with wood burning fire, and then visit the syrup shack to see the sap being transformed into real maple syrup.

The sugar bush is open on weekends from March 1st - April 12th. The all-you-can eat buffet meal is served 9am - 3pm on weekends or by reservation during the week. It’s $20 for adults with different prices for children based on their ages.
